A pair of bluebirds has been busily working on building a nest in my bird house. It's funny to watch, as the female works endlessly, and the male just sits in a nearby tree and seems to be supervising.
I have two theories for this behavior. Either.......(1) the male is saying "The nest building is your job", or (2) the female is saying "Let me do this, because I want to make sure it gets done right the first time!!"
Sound familiar, anyone??????

Your theories are interesting, however, it is more likely that ol' bluebird is sitting where he can get a good view of a ball game on TV inside the nearby house. If you look even more closely, you'll find he probably has a remote in his hand. Why do't you teach him to play guitar. Snack lady
